Holy cow, I like Flash animation, now that I understand how to do it. A bit time-consuming, sure, but somehow it doesn't seem as boring as general drawing or inking. Maybe my cartoon project has a chance after all.

Well, a library is nothing more than a collection of symbols, and a symbol is really nothing more than a miniature scene (well, at least Graphics and Movie Clips are; I don't know about Buttons). You can basically just think of a symbol as a scene within a scene (which might contain their own scenes within a scene, which can probably be confusing if you don't keep track).
